One Response to “Into the Wild, Jon Krakauer”

  1. Jackson R. Says:

Summary: Jon Krakauer writes about the story of a man who was starting a new life in Alaska, he burned his money and got rid of his car. He comes across some people that were pretty interesting. The story took place around 1990 to 1992. The story was based entirely off a true story.

Evaluation: I loved the book so much. I could connect to some parts, and he did a very good job at describing things so it was very easy to follow. Definitely one of my favorite books.

  2. Kieran L. Says:

Summary: Jon Krakauer writes about a young man who sets off on a journey to the Alaska wilderness. It is a true story and took place from 1990 to 1992. Along the way Chris McCandless meets some new friends but ends up dying alone from starvation.

Evaluation: I really loved this book. Krakauer did a greeat job of including everyone’s perspective on McCandless including his own. I wanted McCandless to live the whole time even though I knew he was dead from the start.
