  1. Sarah H. Says:

Summary: Pagford is only a small town in England but it is anything but ordinary. When Barry Fairbrother dies the towns breaks out in a silent war. Teenagers against their parents, wives against husbands, rich against poor, and teachers against students. The balance of the town had been lost and a fascinating web of people is spun as the story unravels.

Review: This book is impeccably written. The plot is unique and thick with detail, yet still entirely realistic. As for the characters, they are believable and fascinating to read of.

Recommendations: The Glass Lake, The Night Circus, The Art of Racing in the Rain
