    Summary:
The graphic novel Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong begins with star basketball player Charlie getting dumped by his head cheerleader girlfriend. His geeky childhood friend Nate runs for the student council with the hopes of securing funding for the robotics club. The cheerleaders have their own plan to use the money for new cheer uniforms, and the fun begins. The cheerleaders conscript Charlie to run on their behalf, and the two friends face off in a contest neither of them really wants to win or lose. They eventually join forces and attempt to win enough prize money in a robot battle competition to fund both the cheer uniforms and the robotics club. Many complications and challenges ensue and threaten to push them together or drive them apart.

    Evaluation:
Think Glee meets Weird Science. This quick and easy read entertained me with a story playing on typical high school stereotypes. I enjoyed how the various groups put their differences aside and found common cause in the robotics competition. (Perhaps this should be required reading for Congress?) Because many authors have told this story before in various forms, I found the characters and plot pretty predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless.
